We are a group of parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, teachers and interested parties who gather for support, education and sharing.  We share our love, joys and challenges in a completely non-judgmental and confidential setting.

The US Department of Labor, Employment Standards Administration , Office of Workers' Compensation Programs, (OWCP) , Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act, (EEOICPA) has a variety of services available to Nuclear and Federal Workers.  The EEOICPA was passed by US Congress in 2000, this act provides compensation and medical coverage to workers who became ill as a results from exposure to radiation.

This group provides both an atmosphere of sharing facilitated by a group of individuals with over 15 years experience living with seizure disorders; and an opportunity to host guest speakers from within the industry to provide up-to-date news and views on epilepsy treatments, challenges and other resources.

This free support group includes social gatherings such as dinner, bowling, or an afternoon at the park. Epilepsy can be an isolating disorder, and Eric's Corner social gatherings encourage all individuals to participate in life's activities.

Senior Support Program of the Tri-Valley, (SSPTV)  sponsors this interactive 7- week program as part of the Finding Wellness program.  Topics include fall prevention, using and understanding medications, alcohol awareness, hydration, stress management, chronic pain and exercise.

The program, funded several times throughout the year in the Tri-Valley, would like to reach more people. If your group (minimum of 8 individuals  and maximum of 25)  is interested in scheduling the series, please contact the Behavioral Health Program Manager for details.
