Kitchen helpers, servers and food donations are needed for this breakfast, held every Sunday morning to serve the homeless and low income in our community (usually between 50-60 people). Building relationships with our guests is one of our goals and we try to join them at the tables and eat alongside them. The food is all donated by our group of volunteers - our menus come out on Wednesdays via www.signupgenius.com. (This is an online program that lists the food needed for this weeks menu, and allows people to signup for portions of the required food). If you are interested in helping, I can add you to our breakfast list and you will get one message per week with the published menu and you can then see the food and help needs for that particular week.
When: Sunday mornings - cooking & prep work starting at 8:00, serving at 9:30 & clean-up (usually done by 10:30)
Where: Discovery Church, 5860 Las Positas Rd., Livermore
