Valley Pregnancy Center offers Abortion Recovery Bible study groups for women and men struggling with feelings of loss or regret from a past abortion(s). AHIP is a program of Eden I & R ( 211) that serves the Alameda County community, and is funded by Alameda County HCD and the City of Oakland HOPWA Grant. Eden I & R (Information & Referral) is a non-profit agency committed to linking Alameda County families with a range of community resources.
AHIP is part of the RHRP (Roving Housing Resource Programs) that assist individual and families who are low-income and at-risk of becoming homeless in accessing and leveraging community resources.
AHIP will assess your needs and make appropriate referral to housing and social services in Alameda County. AHIP staff work with AIDS service organizations and case managers throughout Alameda County who serve People Living with HIV/AIDS, (PLWHA), their families, friends, and caregivers.
AHIP also provides housing workshops designed for both PLWHA and case managers. Focus of the "Housing 101" workshop includes search strategies. Contact AHIP for more information.

New satellite office opened on December 1st, 2015 in Dublin to make its services more accessible to people who live or work in the county's southern and eastern areas. The new office is within walking distance of West Dublin BART station. Service offerings will include certified copies of vital records (birth, death and marriage certificates), certified copies of official public records (recorded real estate documents) and document recording. A customer research area will also be provided.

Alameda County Health Care for the Homeless Program (ACHCHP) is a federally-funded 330(h) Health Care for the Homeless program that provides health care and case management services to homeless persons throughout Alameda County since 1988.
ACHCHP provides case management, referrals to mobile medical clinics (Berkeley, Oakland) , visiting shelters, meal sites, transitional and recovery housing programs.

Alameda Health System (Highland General Hospital, Fairmont Hospital, San Leandro Hospital, Alameda Hospital, John George Psychiatric Hospital, Ambulatory Wellness Center) Senior Day Treatment Services provide specialized mental health services for Seniors. They provide day treatment services for seniors who are struggling with mental illness and adjustment issues associated with later life in a supportive milieu that focuses on building skills. OPS offers psychiatric intake assessment, daily group therapy, regular visits with a psychiatrist, weekly visits with a therapist, mediation evaluation, as needed nursing follow up on medical issues, lunch and transportation.
