Pleasanton Paratransit Services, (PPS) provides door-to-door, shared-ride-services for eligible Pleasanton and Sunol residents. It is a City of Pleasanton program, managed by the Department of Community Services. The goal of PPS is to provide timely, safe, personalized and convenient transportation that meets the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
A PPS application must be completed for riders to be eligible to use the service..

The Bureau of Automotive Repairs administers a program through local community colleges. The program, Smog Check Referee Program offers assistance to consumers WHO HAVE FAILED THE SMOG CHECK. This appointment only program offers the following services:
2nd opinion on SMOG CHECK failure (at a reduced rate)
Verification of an engine change (if needed to pass SMOG check)
Parts location Service (find parts to fix problems)
Repair Cost Waiver ( funds to assist consumer with needed fixes)

Alameda County WheelChair and Scooter Breakdown Transportation Service (WSBTS)
Alameda County Transportation Commission offers wheelchair breakdown transportation service. The service is provided free of cost to wheelchair and scooter owners. If you have a mechanical breakdown in Alameda County call the toll free number for assistance. The program is funded by Measure B Alameda County's half-cent transportation tax.
