Tri-Valley Haven needs two volunteers to pick up donations at Trader Joe's in Pleasanton on Monday and/or Tuesday mornings and deliver them to Haven pantry in Livermore. Volunteers will need to drive own personal vehicle (needs to be pick-up truck) or Tri-Valley Haven van. Also, 1-2 volunteers are needed to drive the Mobile Pantry van two mornings per month (1st Wednesday & 3rd Friday) to sites in Livermore and Pleasanton.

Posted: 09/09/2014The VAST Program of Senior Support Program of the Tri-Valley, (SSPTV) supplements existing public and paratransit services by providing door-through-door service for seniors to their medical appointments.
SSPTV has an on-going need for volunteers to drive seniors to medical appointments.
VAST drives older adults (60 and older) that live in the cities of Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton, Sunol. VAST is an essential program for seniors, as the area remains geographically isolated relative to other cities with Alameda County. Many critical services are located outside of the Tri-Valley including speciality medical and behavioral health care.
When: Flexible, you pick days and times you are available.
Between the hours of 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday
Where: Flexible, you choose the radius of your volunteer driving.

The Garden of Grace is a community educational garden in Livermore that has been growing fresh organic produce for those in need and delivering it to to local food programs since 2010. Volunteers ages 10 & over are invited (if under 15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult volunteering also) to harvest, mulch, seed, transplant, prune and weed. Instruction is provided.
