The Tri-Valley Haven provides a mobile food pantry to seniors in Pleasanton. Recipients must be pre-registered to receive a bag of groceries. Proof of residency must also be provided. The bag consists of canned and bagged staples.

Join an established group that visits to shine Christ’s love into the heart of seniors at this local skilled nursing center . A musician is urgently needed to provide guitar, keyboard or piano music. Other individuals who enjoy seniors and have a voice to sing praises to our Lord are invited.

This center provides activities and services that meet the diverse needs of mature adults in the community and seeks to assist them in maintaining healthy and independent lives through programs that enrich the body, mind and spirit. Volunteer positions include greeters, computer tutors, receptionist, program aides, data entry clerk, and boutique clerk.
The site is open Monday -Friday and volunteer shift is 10:30 -1:30. Volunteers 18 years and older can sign up for this site online through the online volunteer system.

The City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Senior Center offers computer, smart phone, and tablet tutoring. Smart Phone tutoring will be offered Tuesday and Friday afternoons. Tutors offer one-on-one appointments for 30 minutes, 3:30 - 4:00 PM and 4:00 -4:30 PM . Free of Charge. Learn how to use your smartphone or tablet. Axis Community Health is the nonprofit health center in the Tri-Valley for low-income and uninsured residents. Volunteers are needed to assist patients to enroll in our new Patient Portal. Volunteers will fill shifts at one of the three medical locations in Pleasanton - 5925 W Las Positas Blvd #100 and Livermore -3311 Pacific Ave and 4361 Railroad Ave.

Suggested donation is $3.00 or you can purchase a Punch Card which includes 10 pre-paid meals for $30.00. Reservations are recommended but not required. Take out is available.
