Hope Hospice Inc. offers a variety of free grief support groups throughout the year here in the Tri-Valley. Prior to joining a support group Hope Hospice requires that you participate in a meeting with a Grief Support Provider to determine whether their services can meet your need. Adult Grief Journeys Groups are eight week sessions and provide a way to explore grief in a safe and supportive environment. Sessions include sharing, coping strategies, exploring memories and discovering hope and meaning. The six-week Children and Teens Support Groups sessions (Age 6-17) provide a safe and nurturing environment to help children and teens understand and learn healthy coping skills. Age appropriate support groups allow participants to explore their feelings through sharing, creative writing, music, games and art projects.
Enrollment is limited please call to register. Prior to joining our support groups, we ask that you attend an informational interview with a Grief Support Provider.
