This Bible study & fellowship is for adults 18 and over with developmental disabilities.  The meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month from mid-September through June. Each meeting starts at 6:00pm with a free dinner at 6:15pm followed by prayer time, Bible study, crafts, and games. Special events are also scheduled throughout the year.

Senior Support Program of the Tri-Valley, SSPTV and Hearts in Harmony are sponsoring a community chorus that focuses on providing a social and comfortable environment for seniors to share in the gift of music through singing.  Although the focus is on seniors with dementia and their caregivers, no senior will be turned away.  All Seniors are welcome.    No experience required. Saturday Rehearsals from 1:30 - 3:30 PM beginning on February 11, 2017. Registration fee applies.

The Hearts in Harmony Chorus will present a performance at the Pleasanton Senior Center on Saturday, June 10th, 2017.

Lincoln-  Kinship Support Services Program provides free services to kinship families-families in which a child is being raised by his or her relatives.  Our goal is to support our families in any way possible to ensure that the child stays with a relative caregiver versus entering the foster care system.

These services include case management, advocacy and referral to a wide range of services, free workshops and classes based on our kin families needs and interests, support groups for both caregivers and youth, free "Caregiver Night Out" and family events, 24 hour helpline for immediate resource referral (510-421-6861), free homework help and academic support, free weekend recreation activities for children and youth, Aviator Program which is a teen leadership program, Kin Connect which is a youth mentoring program.

This home meal delivery program provides daily nutritious meals to homebound seniors which helps improve the quality of lives and allows
seniors to remain independent in their homes. Volunteers are always invited to join the team that delivers meals.

NCBC  has some volunteer positions available for anyone who would like to do some light clerical:  filing, putting Course Notebooks together, simple things that just need a pair of hands.   This is becoming more and more of a need as the school continues to grow.

Our spring respite for special needs children has an Olympic theme. Kids will be participating in some fun games in the gathering place, earning a medal and getting their pictures taken on the medal stand with the American flag.  Come be a part of the games, sporting jerseys and teams from all over the world or your patriotic red, white and blues.  We can only take as many kids as we have volunteers so sign up early and invite a friend.  Training begins for EVERYONE at 1:00 pm so you will know where and how to help your child participate in the games. OHK is in need of volunteers at following venues:

PLEASANTON SENIOR CENTER has two volunteer shifts available:10:30 AM - 1:30 PM and 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM - Monday through Friday. We are especially in need of volunteers on Tuesdays, and Thursdays at this site: 5353 Sunol Blvd., Pleasanton.

DUBLIN SENIOR CENTER has a volunteer shift available at the 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM - Monday through Friday. We are especially in need of volunteers on Tuesdays, and Wednesdays at this site: 7606 Amador Valley Blvd., Dublin.

Volunteers need to wear closed toe  shoes, long shorts or pants, and short or long sleeved shirts. We are now requiring all volunteers to wear some sort of head covering. It can be a hat, a scarf, a bandana, or a hair net. If you arrive at a site without a head covering, one will be provided for you.  If you are volunteering for the first time, please make sure that you print off and sign the Volunteer Agreeement form below.

Age Restrictions - Some of our activities have age restrictions and are noted.  All volunteers must be at least 10 years old. Volunteers between 10 and 13 years old must have a parent or guardian, volunteer during the same shift with them. The parent or guardian must also be a registered volunteer.  Volunteers who are at least 14 can volunteer on their own with out a parent or guardian.
