The Livermore Homeless Refuge, LHR was created to provide a warm, safe, clean environment for individual homeless people to stay overnight. It uses faith based communities as its base to house this segment of our society. These faith based communities allow us to provide this service to homeless individuals at a minimal cost. It does not segregate on the basis of race, creed, color, religion or lack of religion. Its current funding comes from individuals, faith based communities and the general public. At this time LHR does not induce or attempt to induce anyone to a specific religion. The Livermore Homeless Refuge season is from November 1, 2015 through April 30, 2016 during inclement weather.
