Creative and energetic childcare providers who can supply short-term care (respite) in the homes of children with special needs are needed. The children may be developmentally disabled, or have experienced abuse, neglect or pre-natal drug exposure, or are HIV-affected. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Have experience working with children and families.
Be at least 18 years old, and have a high school diploma or GED.
Have access to a motor vehicle in good working order.
Be able to obtain a criminal record clearance.
Be eligible to work in the U.S.
This is a part-time (no guarantee of hours) position which pays $10.00 - 10.50 hour (depending upon the number of children in your care). Respite is provided in the child’s home and is generally needed after-school, evenings, and weekends.
