Partners for Change – Be an Ally

On January 1, 2017 Circles for Change will be known as Partners for Change.

This national program provides mentors (Allies) to individuals in poverty seeking to change their lives by achieving financial self-sufficiency.  After completing a 14-20 week life skills course, participants are expected to contribute to the community completing the circle with action.  The Circle meets regularly to build friendships (Wednesdays, 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM), where a meal, adult learning and child care are provided.

The program is seeking volunteer Allies to befriend a family or individual in financial poverty.  Training support is offered through Ally Support Sessions and collaboration with others in Networx and access to Circles for Change staff.  Other ways to serve include: meal preparation help, tutors, childcare providers, and others with life skills to share.  To learn more about becoming an Ally or to refer individuals to this program contact the Circle for Change Director.
