Provides screening and assists applicants in applying for CalFresh (federal food stamp program in California). Can assist callers in a wide array of languages.

This organization provides food to families in need in our local communities throughout the year. Over 500 families in the cities of Pleasanton, Dublin, San Ramon and Alamo are helped annually . This assistance is available to single adults and couples as well as families with children. Volunteer to help with the holiday food drives in November and April.

Lunch is provided by Open Heart Kitchen. Suggested donation for the lunch is $3.00 for adults 60+ or you can purchase a Punch Card which includes 10 pre-paid meals for $30.00. (Under age 60, cost is $5.00) Reservations are strongly encouraged to be made 24 hours in advance but are not required. Take out is available. Volunteers are needed to stock and distribute groceries to clients in need. There are also opportunities to pray with the recipients. In additon, there is a need for donations of non-perishable food items, dry goods, toiletries, school supplies and infant care items.
