Healthy, home delivered meals are available for seniors (60 years and older) who are unable to prepare their own food, and have difficulty with mobility. Fresh, nutritious meals are distributed during the week, and chilled or frozen meals can be pre-ordered for weekend and holidays. Funded in part by the Alameda County Area Agency on
Lunch is provided by Open Heart Kitchen. Suggested donation for the lunch is $3.00 for adults 60+ or you can purchase a Punch Card which includes 10 pre-paid meals for $30.00. (Under age 60, cost is $5.00) Reservations are strongly encouraged to be made 24 hours in advance but are not required. Take out is available.
Sage Cafe is a partnership between the City of Pleasanton and Open Heart Kitchen which provides meals.
